The innocents are the ones who end up living unhappily ever after... I started this as two sketches in Corel Painter Essentials 4 then moved it to Photoshop Elements 10 for merging and painting. This image was inspired by the people I have met in my life who came from broken families which had ended up either totally dysfunctional or in divorce, possibly worse scenarios as well, hence the above tag line. I spent about 3 hours on this image from start to finish.
