I noticed the call-to-arms in the discussion thread, so here I am reporting for duty! Deep in the woods the old stone demon guards this ancient land, a land so corrupt that all human endeavour crumbles to dust under it's baleful, schadenfreudian gaze. That's the pomp out of the way... The church wall is a greyscale dropped onto a lattice – constructed from a couple of images of window tracery sourced from the interwebz (medieval architects didn't build anything quite how I wanted it!). Apparently the Circular tracery is from Strasbourg Cathedral. They were arranged and 'artfully destroyed' using Paint.net. The stone demon was made with Sculptris using my officially patented Shoddy Sculpting Technique – thank goodness for moody lighting! Nothing fancy rendering wise, just standard issue settings.
