Photography Holiday Contest 2011: "Holiday Dreams"

This is a christmas rose (Helleborus niger). This flower blooms in the midst of winter when everything is dark and cold. To me this is Mother Nature's way to show us dreams come true! This capture was taken with a Canon Rebel T2i (550d) and cropped in Photoshop Elts. It didn't take me a lot of time taking the picture : a few minutes lying on the ground.
