Rendered in Poser 7, post work in Paint Shop Pro X4, took me about 3 days. As a child I used to dream about fairies and elves and magical things to get me through the trauma of watching my only sister die of cancer. At Christmas I always dreamed about Santa's elves and imagined what they were doing to get Santa ready for his long night on Christmas Eve. This picture is from one of my memories of imagining the elves preparing Santa's clothes ready for him to dress and get in his sleigh and GO. One is sewing a patch in his hat (it is very old afterall), one has been busy polishing Santa's boots and has started to fall asleep, and two brush down the fur on his clothes to make sure he looks perfect as he dashes through the sky on his way to drop off gifts to all the children
