Shot with an Olympus XZ-1 in our backyard in our grave yard. We used LED lights controlled by a lighting mixer that we use for our haunt, and also used a light with a reflector to add ambient light. For the fog, we used our fog machine with chiller to make the fog stay low to the ground. First we took a background image photo, and then left the camera in the same place while I dressed up in several different costumes and masks. My wife took photos while I posed in over 500 pictures in many different costume configurations all over the grave yard. When we were done with the shoot, we used Paintshop Pro to layer all the images together into this one Apocolyptic picture. We did two nights of photo shooting which amounted to 7 hours total including setup and costume changes. It took about 3 hours to finish the photo in Paintshop Pro. Our inspiration was this contest coupled with the fact that our Halloween haunt theme this year has a zombie theme! No such thing as a coincidence, right?
