If you ever meet a zombie there is no need to panic. He is slow moving and not too bright. You can run circles around him and put a bullet in his head whenever you want. That's my inspiration. One zombie is hardly frightening. But when they are everywhere... Where ya gonna run? I was thinking classic zombie movies. They are always the most frightening. A slow moving endless wave of death and destruction. There are 44 figures in this scene. 40 Lorenzo lo-rez figures. 2 Loretta lo-rez, one genesis, and one M4. M4 skeleton and m4 internal organs are there, too. All the figures where in ONE scene built and rendered in Daz Studio 4 Pro. The texture on the main zombie is Rawart's The Immortal. The buildings are Stone Mason's A quiet street. The truck comes from Stone Mason Urban Sprawl 2. BG Sky is DimensionTheory's Skies of Reality 2. I also used Pixeluna's DeadAlive - poses for V4 & M4 for the crowd, and StudioArtVartanian's Spartacos Hair for the genesis figure. Thanks to AprilYSH for the freebie Mitch hair. Various Ron's brushes - mostly Ron's Slime and Ron's mud. The time - about 3 hours to do the custom morph for genesis. Mostly because I didn't know how. About 8 hours to do the original posing, clothing, and mats for the crowd. I did them in smaller groups and then when I put them all together I tweaked them. Then I played with lighting, posing the hero zombie, and fine tuning the crowd for about 8 more hours. Post work in photoshop about 12 hours. It took me a lot longer than I thought it would posing and reposing 43 figures. I broke it up over several sessions to avoid turning into a zombie myself. So all together about 35 hours over ten days.
