What will zombies do if everybody dies? Well, they’ll probably die of hunger but that would be a boring image. That’s why I made them play poker. I was inspired by the series of sixteen oil paintings by C. M. Coolidge known as Dogs Playing Poker. I sculpted my own zombies in ZBrush and it took me about 4 days to do the 3 of them. The room and all the accessories where modeled in Cinema 4D where I put everything together for lighting and rendering. I also used Photoshop to do most of the textures and minor tweaks on the final render. The entire image took me about 2 weeks to complete, working whenever I could.
