To me the night before Christmas was the most exciting time, the expectation of what is to come would set the mind racing.. I am sure many kids have slept in front of the Christmas tree in hopes of catching a glimpse of that magical Christmas moment. So my image is of a child trying to catch the mystical moment but has finally fallen asleep. I used Carrara 8 to create the scene and then Corel Photopaint to do the 2d postwork I created the image over a 7 or 8 day period and spent about 28-30hrs on it.
