Entry #119

In the Urban Legend of Bloody Mary it states that if a person will stand before a candlelit mirror and call the name of Bloody Mary thirteen times that they may see the face of Bloody Mary in the mirror. Well, I'm here to share with you now that in my dream visions I have seen further and I know that Bloody Mary has seen and has tasted this side of the veil over and again from those who have tested this legend. Forever more, Bloody Mary yearns to be set free. So every year at the Midnight Hour on Samhein's Eve, when the veil between realms is at its thinnest, Bloody Mary and her Minions chant for the Invocation that will release her spirit to roam freely among us. All that is required is for a willing vessel to stand in front of a candlelit mirror during the striking of the Twelve Bells while calling forth the name of Bloody Mary three times followed then by the Invocation. Upon which, Bloody Mary will cross the veil to join the vessel, bringing along her magickal energies to wreak havoc as her will desires. Do you dare to invoke the spirit of Bloody Mary? Will you be among those that try? Only the chosen one will succeed. I remember trying this when I was a child. What I saw in the mirror, or imagined seeing, after only the second calling of the name Bloody Mary was enough to frighten me and I stopped. I only began animating in July 2010. This animation was rendered during my free time over a period of 11 days. I used DAZ Studio (free version), Paint Shop Pro 9 for the title text images, Balabolka (a free text-to-voice-engine software), Audacity (a free sound editor), and Adobe Premier Elements to put it all together.
