A young woman who lives alone arrives home to find her dog acting strangely. Not only is he anxious, but seems to have trouble breathing, as if he was choking. She rushes the dog to the local vet. The vet does not find anything wrong immediately. He decides to keep the dog overnight for observation. The young woman returns home, and as she is entering the house, her phone rings. It is the vet. He tells her, "Don't go in the house! We did an X-ray on your dog, and he was choking on a human finger!" The police come, and find a serial killer hiding in the house, with a bloody, mangled hand. I was a young woman living alone when I heard this story, and of course the teller swore that it really happened not long before in our community. Strange that I never heard about it on the evening news! Rendered in DAZStudio3 with postwork in Paint Shop Pro (blended two renders to improve the lighting). Messed about with it for about 3 hours total.
