I was inspired to do this art project because of Michael Jackson's Thriller. At the begining of the video, you see MJ sitting in a theatre eating popcorn with his mouth open and a big teethy smile. It just strikes me funny. other things that inspird this is the title URBAN LEGENDS - I like to nail a subject as close as possible and with there being an "S" at the end of Legend, I had to have more than one Halloween Spirit. Now if you look hard, I got the most famous of the monster - legends in there, however, they don't look like the way they're known for. As I made this, I changed who played the part, some of these you'll get because there's a tie in with the name, or attitude or they just look like they could play that part. How long did this take? Weeks of constant work. the biggest CG drawing I've ever done, I had no idea what I was in for. This last week I've had insomnia and stayed awake working on it - lol As I type this, it is 9:42AM... I started on this as soon as I read what the Theme was. This is my 5th year in this Annual Halloween Contest and I love it. I look forward to this contest every year. I used photo explosion - cheap program but I know it better than the other program I used - photo shop 7 all art was draw, redrawn, shrunk - I learned alot on this project, it made me a better CG artist, I understand what I can and can not do a whole lot better now.
