the legends of the woman in white span many countries in many forms, there is the slit-mouthed woman (Kuchisake-onna)of japan, the la llorona (the wailer) of mexico, and many more, the basis being dont cheat on your husband or abuse/murder your children (you'll end up like them), also to not talk to strangers, go out after dark alone, pick up hitch-hikers, fight going to bed, or gossip (or they will get you). I decided to combine those urban legends as they are all my favorites. hand painted in psp 12, some brushes used of my own creation, reference photography used for woman and man but is not part of the final composition. total hours aprox 48 (lost track of full time, been working on it since contest start)
