Ever wonder who creates those life size garden statues? A few years back there was a boom in the popularity of garden decor. I remember a particularly beautiful statue that was in one of our local cemetaries. She was the image of a 17 yr old girl. Her long hair covered her long neck and shoulders. Her expression was that of sadness. Rumor has it that this statue was placed there to guard the grave of a young girl who had died tragically in a car wreck. And that if you were to try to deface her she would turn you into stone. As it would happen a group of kids were out goofing off one night and came across her. They all stood and looked at her chisled face wondering who the model was. The one of the boys took out a can of spray paint and began spraying red paint on her chest. "She looks better with color." he guaffed. At the same moment there was a scream from deep in the earth and they all ran away scared. The boy however didnt hear the scream and never seen his friends leave. When they went back to look for him he was gone. A few weeks later another statue was placed in the cemetary. Its body reclining at the base of the beautiful female statue. There were streaks of red in the stone that he was carved from. It looked just like the missing boy... The story is mine. A new "urban legend". Total time to complete from inception to end about 2 weeks. Render time 8 hours, post work time 2 hours. Completed in Daz Studio and postworked in photoshop Elements. Thanks for looking and good luck to all who enter.
