ALLIGATORS IN THE SEWERS Freddy: "Hey Velma, did you hear the one about alligators in the sewers?" Velma: "Freddy, this is hardly the time for that silliness. Look, just as I suspected - it's the lost throne of Gawannawhatzitz!" Daphne: "Eww, this water is disgusting, it is totally ruining my shoes. Can we please hurry?" Shaggy: "V-v-v-v-v-Velma!?" Scooby: *teeth chattering* PLEASE NOTE THAT SCOOBY DOO IS COPYRIGHT WARNER BROS. AND CARTOON NETWORK Imaged was created in DAZ3D Advanced, no postwork. I worked on it off and on for a little over a week. I looked at a list of urban myths, and as soon as I saw the one about the alligators in the sewers, the light bulb went off immediately. I knew I could turn that into a Scooby Doo urban myth picture. I'm still relatively new to 3D computer art, but it's a tremendous amount of fun to do and I love that the final output is something that my kids can enjoy as well. I tried to capture a bit of the essence of the gang, with Freddy being a bit silly, Daphne worried about her clothes, Velma triumphant that her conclusion was correct, and, of course, Shaggy and Scooby left almost speechless as they see the creature sneaking up on the group from behind and they stuggle to get the words out. For some reason, most Scooby episodes seemed to have a scene like that.
