This is a "painterization" of a render. I started with the default layer, overlaid with a Sharpen layer at 24% opacity; added a gradient layer (13%); gave it some more saturation with an HSL layer (46%); then two shots of BrightnessContrast (figured I'd need lots of contrast for the later painting effect); went heavy on the red with a colour balance layer (30%), and finally gave it the Academic oil painting treatment (60%).
