Hand-drawn (-painted) in Painter, finished in Photoshop (text and file handling), roughly 25hrs. work. When I was a kid, our whole family met at Christmas Eve. I couldn’t wait for everyone to arrive. After dinner we all took a walk to Church and attended Christmas Eve service round about midnight. This is some time ago, but even then nobody came by reindeer or sleigh, but, as a well known painter used to say, this painting is my world and I can do whatever pleases me. The song “I’ll be home for Christmas†always reminds me of that time and I think that’s a good title for this image. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all of you!
