GramGram's Story I sat on the floor of the family room. As I looked around i saw the fireplace was lite, the stockings hung all in a row,the chrtstmas tree was even more beautiful this year than in the years passed. The the final thing in the room with me was my gramgram. She sat in the old rocker that sat next to the fireplace. She was dressed in her holiday best and had her hair pulled back into a tight bun. She always had a smile on her face as if she had something on her mind at all times. I looked up at my gramgram and spoke. "GramGram, can you tell me your favorite Christmas day story?" "Annaliegh, you have heard this story so many times, how can you hear it again?" "I love it gramgram, so please." "*Sigh*, Ofcouse my dear. Now where to start." As I looke up at her from my spot on the floor, ashe got that faraway look swhe always got when she told me this story. *FLASHBACK* It was 2009 and my boyfriend Marcus had invited me to spend Christmas with him and his family. I really couldn't wait, it was our first christmas together. Weeks before he asked me to make out a list of things i wanted and then to give it to him. I wasn't sure if i was gonna get anything from that list but i was happy about this year. I had made his sister and his mom jewley, and bought him something special. I also made the family cookies. When i got to his house, it felt like home and was very warming to be there. We ate and exchanged gifts, they all liked what i did for them. After we opened our gifts, Marcus told me he had one more for me. So he pulled me upstairs to his room. I just sat on his bed like I always did when i was over, but when i looked up he had a small box in his hands. He got down onto one knee and took my left hand in his and looked up into my eyes, which were breaming with tears by now, and opened the box and spoke and a very confudent yet shy voice, "Amber, my love, I love you and i always will. Since the day i met you, i knew i wanted you in my life, and tonight, i ask you, will you marry me, will you stay with me forever?" I cried for a moment and finally looked at him and threw my arms around him. "Yes my love, i will." He kissed me, and then we went to tell his family, and then i called mine, both families were very happy for us. We married a couple of years later, and have been happy with eachother. *END FLASHBACK* "So Annaliegh, that is my story again, i hope you are happy my dear."
