The beauty of the Christmas tree. I used my digital Kodak camera to take a picture of the tree, after I decorated it. Then I used Paint Shop Pro to frame the image. Then I resized with Irfanview. It really didn't take very long to do. I just didn't do it all at once. My inspiration for this was the child in all of us, which hopefully still comes out at Christmas for you. Decorating makes your house more festive. I have family visiting for Christmas, so I wanted to make festive memories for them too. I remember sitting in the dark watching the lights on the tree when I was young and through out my life. Sometimes I have been lucky to have a fireplace to go along with the tree. I have lots of Christmas decorations for the tree, and I pick different ones every year. I buy at least one new ornament every year to add to the mix. So decorating is fun, either in a theme or just a variety of the collection. I usually have a variety of lights to choose from or will get new ones. They don't seem to last as long as the ornaments. This years tree is a variety of the ornaments. So for me it brings back memories and makes new ones too. So I really love the beauty of the Christmas tree, and the enjoyment from decorating and viewing, anticipation for Christmas and all it brings for you, festiveness for the season, traditions that you carry on and create. and memories new and old it has for me. Merry Christmas!
