This picture was inspired by my daughter. She has given me a list of things she wants me to get her for Christmas. And she gets this look on her face - the please, please, please, oh please look that melts a parent's heart and makes you spend more to make it a 'Christmas to remember'. :) This portrait is actually based on a picture of my daughter. I painted the face, hair and outfit using Photoshop CS4. I wanted to make her look 'old fashioned' and so created a Christmassy cape. (My daughter said it reminded her of Little Red Riding Hood.) It took me about 5 hours to create this picture. (I spent a lot of time on the eyes and lips to give them that pleading look.) The bow is from Jaguarlady's satin bows and the flower ornament in her hair is a freebie. Hope everyone has a great holiday full of fun and good things! P.S. Yes, her eyes are that blue!!!
