I created this image using Ultra Fractal. Total time invested in the image at least 6 hours, and most of that was spent getting the gradient, inside options, and outside options tweaked. Total render to disk time on a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo was just under 36 minutes. I call this one "Tree Trimmed, Presents Placed" and it reminds me of the earliest Christmas I can remember. Everything was bright and shiny. All the tinsel, bows, and wrapping paper created a sensory overload in my mind and to this day when I see a well decorated tree and smell the pine needles all the excitement comes back to me.
