When trying to come up with an idea all my childhood memories revolved around people and events. So, I focused on scenes from my home state, North Carolina, USA. Kitty Hawk, North Carolina is the site of the first powered flight by Orville and Wilbur Wright. There is a monument at that place commemorating that remarkable achievement.
