Entry #3

"New Moon" A young Earth-sized moon orbits it's parent jovian planet. This new world may some day develop life, though now it is constantly impacted by rocks from the planetary ring and the impacts along with tidal forces keep the surface cracked and molten. An all-Bryce render, the gas giant is a sphere with a map of Jupiter; the moon, it's clouds and the atmosphere, the rocks and the more distant parts of the ring (the thin line running down the middle) all use modified preset textures. The image was originally in a 70mm size, but I cropped a part of it and rotated it to help balance the image. The meteor impacts are made from three volumetric lights each. The only postwork is the frame and text. Thanks for viewing!
