I made the basic (the gate and the statues) about one or two years ago. So I remembered this unfinished scene when I was thinking about a theme for this contest. The gate, the heads and the statues were posed in Poser 6, then imported and rendered in Bryce 6. The kids, the eye and the trees on the sides are rendered in Poser 7. The lava landscape effect is made in Photoshop 7 like the rest of the postwork including using fog and plant brushes. I think this was made in about 6 - 8 hours, except the rendering in Bryce... that was about 5 hours alone, hehe. But I prefer soft shadows, and the original size of the image is 3000 x 3000 pixel... ;-) Hope you like it, and good luck to all who take part of this contest!
