Programs used: Maya 2010 Demo After Effects Demo (I really wanted to use toxic cause of the video i watched, but it did not come with the Maya Demo) Apple Image Capture for the photos of my dogs in the picture frames I do not have any sound editing programs so I had to buy the sound from a website. They said as long as I pay for a file I have my licenses and can use it in any of my production. I would not mind getting into sound editing though to work hand in hand with graphics. Took me two days counting the render time. I have never done graphics before so it took me awhile to figure stuff out by reading the manuals. For the most part the manuals were really good, both Adobe and Autodesk did a really good job on listing the Apple commands not just windows. I tried to watch some demo of tutorials through two websites and I found the overview they did in the demo real basically covered the manuals. So i didn't spend the extra money to get the video tutorials. I kinda took a different approach to this contest. I seen everyone creating monsters, ghost, skeletons, spiders, and demons of all kinds of various forms. I thought to myself "Wow I'm the only one who gets afraid of aliens". Your kidding me, i guess I'm an odd ball that thinks aliens are scary as hell. The movie that inspired me and the only movie to date that has scared me has been Signs. The one with Mel Gibson in it. The alley way scene, in the movie the location they said was in Brazil, it is about half way through the movie. You know where you can see the alien, but you can't see him. Just being able to see something, but not making it out, it made me jump out of the seat I was in. That scene still haunts me in my dreams. I have always found the stuff you can not see coming scary cause you ca not prepare for it. You just have to either run or take it.
