Entry #14

A Family Affair ------------------------- It was a hot night. It had been hot all week. I always hated extreme heat and cold from a young age, and this night was no different. However, I would come to hate it for other, darker reasons. I guess it was just after eleven thirty and we each got in the vehicle excited about our adventure! We had gone out many nights, most not as hot, and done the same as we had intended to do this night! Except something changed. About ten miles down the road, passed the city lights below, we were given instructions. I guess the driver knew all along, and it's wise he didn't tell us ahead of time, because I'm sure I would have stayed at the Ranch. We must have arrived there about midnight! Most of those in the car were excited and carrying on, but I kept to myself. I was sick to my stomach. The driver parked the car in front a large gate! He got out and inspected it for a bit and then started to climb up this dirt hill to the side of the gate. He came back down the hill within a minute with a discouraged look on his face. For an instant I was pleased, thinking that we would not be able to continue. He ordered us to get out of the car and we pushed it down two blocks or so down the road and left it there. We walked back up the road and then up the side of the dirt mound. I tripped over something as I walked and had to be helped off of the dirt by one of the others. I had tripped on strands of cut power line. Just as we ran down the hill and were around the gate we were blinded by these bright lights. We didn’t know what they were. We all cowered back towards the dirt hill except for our driver. He yelled for the approaching lights to stop and then proceeded to slash at and then fire four times into the vehicle producing the lights. We then had to push this car down a long driveway. I was very tired at this point and was mentally and physically numb. Inside the vehicle was some sort of dead creature. He wore glasses. We stopped rolling the car when we could see the house. It’s lights were on inside and a blue glow from the backyard swimming pool lit up the yard. We approached as quietly as possible to the side of the long building and stopped near the front door. We looked around for a way in the building but couldn’t find an easy entry point. There was an open window but it had a screen on it. The driver took out his knife and slit the screen so that we could all enter. Except for one of us. She began to cry and told us not to ‘’go in there’’. The driver directed her to wait outside and keep watch. It was even hot inside the home. I was surprised. As rich as someone had to be to own the place, you’d figure they could run some fans or something! We found four creatures inside the building and had them all stand out in the living area, in front of a fireplace. The sick feeling I had earlier started to go away and I became excited like the others! One of the pigs tried to be a savior and he was brought down pretty quickly . At this point all of the pigs began to oink and run. It was rather amusing. The driver chased one out into the yard and I heard only a few shots. The bitch had to be chased out the back door but we caught her in the yard while the driver was disposing of the male bore. His head was all over the grass. we took care of the bitch and her blood was hot. Fucking heat. I went back in the house to check on the other bitch and she was like in shock! She hadn’t even bothered to remove the rope we had tried to hang her with! Well I began to dispose of her as well. She was fat with a child and the blood came easily! I tasted it and finished her while she pleaded for life. We left after I made sure the world knew what a PIG that bitch was! Looking back it all makes me sick. Sick that you weren’t one of them that was their that night! Sick that your world had chose to bleed on my hands, and while licking it, I became an outcast! Sick that I’m here, now, dieing alone. I guess I’m just sick. We should have listened when she told us not to go in there. ----------------------- Word count: 815.
