This is actually an idea that's been floating around in my head, and when I saw the contest I thought it would be perfect. It was inspired by my love of old abandoned buildings, esp Institutions for the Insane, as well as my healthy respect of clowns. It helps that I'm a little insane myself. Everything modeled in C4D r10.11 using both box and polygonal modeling techniques. BP3D and PS7 for texturing. I lost track of the hours,days, and weeks I spent on this project. Plus many hours rendering over night until I finally got the end result that you see here.
