For years, rumors of disappearances from the old city sewer system circulated among the townsfolk. The locals refused to venture down there for any reason anymore. A team was sent in to investigate, and they found the source of the disappearances…but too late to save themselves….They should have headed the locals’ advice…Don’t go in there! For this image, I used Zbrush 3.1, Lightwave 9, Poser 7, and Photoshop CS2. The main figure was sculpted mostly in Zbrush, (using LW for scaling and positioning purposes of the individual components), and textured entirely within Zbrush (my very first attempt at doing this J ). I took several different render passes and composited them in Photoshop, along with the background which was rendered in Poser. This image took me about two weeks to complete, and I was inspired by several images in the wonderful book by Scott Spencer “Zbrush: Character Creationâ€.
