Lisa is my daughter and she would try to stay awake all night to see Santa Claus, usually she would fall asleep filled with the excitement and anticipation by midnight. I would usually sit there watching her and the gently falling snow from my window then after she would fall asleep I would carry her upstairs to her bed and tuck her in. She would wake up the next morning and find herself in bed and wonder how she got here and then the next thing she would do is to run down stairs to see if Santa had been here around 5 or 6 am. Then she would sit at the foot of the stairs after peering around the corner of the stairs and say I missed him again by falling asleep. She knew he had come since the cookies and milk were gone and presents were under the tree. Christmas is the best part of the year. When we are kids and the joy when we see what is under the Tree. Smiling faces when we received that special gift we wanted and the looks of our parents when we would give them something we made. A look that would make us forget about Santa Claus and see the look of happiness on everyone's face to something we made especially for him or her.
