The first imagine that has come to my mind when I've seen this contest's title and theme has been a Heavy Metal band composed of aspiring witches with painted faces like KISS, playing absurd instruments like old pots and brooms: the "Carnival Of Evil" Band. I've tried to develop this idea during this last weeks and finaly decided to create this sort of Band Poster. Terrain, tower, witches, instruments and everything else has been modeled and UV-ed by me in modo 302 except for trees and grasses purchased at Cornucopia and Climbing vines from Daz3D. Texture painting in modo 302 and 3D coat 2.10, base textures created in Genetica 3. Additional materials development, set creation, scene composition and test and final renders have been done in Vue 6 Infinite. No postwork except for a little color correction in The Gimp. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to GEEKATPLAY Studio for their amazing Vue Tutorials and for sharing an incredibly deep knowledge of Vue. Finaly, I don't know exactly how much time I've spent doing this (maybe 80-100 hrs) but it has really been a lot of fun and I think it has been a great learning experience.
