My idea of a "decade of change" is two-fold. First and foremost it's personal. Take a look around you and see what changes you might be able to foresee in a decade. People and lives change and a decade isn't a very long time at all when you look back on it. He's still with us but time is slipping away faster and faster. Second, if it weren't for my not quite 10 years at Renderosity I may never have developed, let alone acted on, my love of photography and black and white imagery. The tutorials, the photography forum, the posted links and tips, the discussions - whether participated in or just read - are the reason I am enjoying this phase of life. I use a Nikon camera and this image of my Dad was rendered black and white in Photoshop 7. As far as time, I'm not exactly sure. I did spend over an hour trying to find just the right black and white look for this image, with it's sunlight and shadows, using a tip posted in the Photography forum. I must say it's better than my old way of accomplishing a black and white image.
