Entry #6

Title: Backyard I think I ended up with: 3 clapboard walls (308 boxes) 10 double-hung windows (9 boxes and a one-sided square each) A circular bathroom window (one-sided square) French doors (12 boxes, a one-sided square, and two spheres for knobs) Two roofs (one-sided squares) Two roof soffets (box each) Six trim pieces (box each) Two pull-down shades (squares) Two curtains (squares) Concrete Foundation (box and a square) Concrete pad in front of deck (box) A fence (4 squares) Grass (the ground plane prop) Sky dome (sphere) And a deck (102 boxes) If I did my math right, the grand total is: 441 boxes 23 squares 3 spheres 1 ground plane Every single piece was measured and placed by hand. I used no scripts to load or position the props. The roof, first floor curtains, and the environment are image maps. I used the HDRVFX Pond that comes with Poser 7. All other materials are 100% procedural, including the circular transmap I constructed with nodes to make the circular window out of a square. I'm particularly happy with the grass, which was done with noise-based displacement. Of course, as required, no postwork.
