This is my first project using Vue. I wanted to create a holiday card that invoked a familar story. Because my experience with Vue was limited, I needed to keep things simple. I was listening to Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas" when I thought of creating an offworld homage to the sad little Christmas tree. The image took me about an hour to compose in Vue (not including render time) and a few minutes to slightly tweak in Photoshop (the ornament hanger and credits). I really like how it turned out, especially as a first project in a package I hadn't used before.
