Rendered in DS, postwork in gimp. I stared at this render for hours after I had finished the postwork the way I wanted. I knew that the image itself was exactly how I wanted it, but something still seemed to be lacking. It was when I expanded the canvas to add a brief holiday message that the poem decided to put itself in there. Somehow, the verbage on that side seemed to complete the image.
