Entry #8

This is what happens to some people when they are sitting in a conference room on the second floor of a swanky, upscale downtown hotel during an annual office brainstorming sesson. No, you don't turn into a snowman, although, I can see that might be a possibility if the thermostat isn't adjusted correctly, but you do start to get bored. Before you know it, you have tuned out the sounds of the company president's voice and turned on your "excitement beacon." My beacon homed in on this great window display in the room and I ended up roaming quietly past the window taking pictures until a nasty grunt and an "Ah-hemmm!" put me in my seat again. But the result of my cheekiness seems to be worth the ire of my leader. As for how it came to look like this...I downloaded it to file, opened and cleaned it in my trial edition of Neat Image (where the softening also took place without warning), slammed it into PhotoShop Elements 4 where I cropped and brighten it a bit, then bounced it into MS PhotoManager to fix the exposure slightly with the "Auto Correct" feature, flipped it quickly into MS Paint where I included my initials in the corner and then called it done.
