Raised as an american, I learned to believe in Santa. Growing up in Germany, I also learned about Christkind. Christkind actualy is Baby Jesus, but comes along at Xmas more like an angel. Nobody seems to wonder why Christkind is a so definitly female character. I also prefere to simply enjoy the fun at xmas. The idea to this painting is based on the question, what Santa and Christkind might be doing after work is done. Have a nice little New years eve party maybe...
