Entry #265

The Ghost of White Lick Creek In the 1870's the railroad built a trestle near Danville, Indiana over White Lick Creek. During the pouring of the support piers that, a worker fell in and was entombed in the sucking concrete. His body remains there to this day. It is said that every full moon a ghostly skeleton waving a lantern appears on the bridge and shrieks at passing trains, trying to flag them down so his soul can be taken away to rest. The railroad is gone now, but his ghost still waits for his train that will never come. Bryce 5.0 with color correction and a few extra touches in Photoshop 6.
