The Ghost of White Lick Creek In the 1870's the railroad built a trestle near Danville, Indiana over White Lick Creek. During the pouring of the support piers that, a worker fell in and was entombed in the sucking concrete. His body remains there to this day. It is said that every full moon a ghostly skeleton waving a lantern appears on the bridge and shrieks at passing trains, trying to flag them down so his soul can be taken away to rest.
