One of my favorite movies - 2001 a Space Odyssey. What can you say about a film adaptation of an Arthur C. Clarke short story with a screen play by Stanley Kubrick and Anthony Burgess? I really thought that by that time I reached the age I am now (53), that I could take a "2001" style vacation in space - oh well. But one of my favorite parts of the movie was the monolith. The simple black slab was so much more ominous and compelling then some high tech CG created machine. Modeling done in Modo, figures from DAZ and rendered in Bryce 5.
