This project was a lot of fun...I've only just begun with Painter a few months ago and have found it a wonderful tool to bridge the gap between 3D and 2D by softening the sometimes harsh "rendered" look that 3D can give. The suggestion of "Love is in the Air" sparked this idea as well as two quotes heard long ago..."Love is like the sun coming out of the clouds and warming your soul" and "Love is a journey." The ship was rendered in Poser then taken into Painter and repainted to get a better effect for the wood of the ship and the materials on the balloon. The background was composited in Photoshop then repainted in Painter to blend with the foreground with additional clouds. Clothes and hair were also painted. Good luck to all!
