I painstakingly painted this entirely in Corel Painter, using my mouse. For the most part, I used the oil pastel tool but also nervous pen and other tools and effects. It took about 30 layers and two weeks to complete. My choice of this particular subject came from my love of my parents and their love for one another, that, thank God, has lasted for almost 50 years to date.
