Time for a new challenge and this time we're going way back in history, back to the time of ancient Egypt! The theme of this challenge is to visualize in 3D a myth from the rich treasure that is Egyptian Mythology!

The challenge involves modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering an Egyptian mythos scene and all Cinema plugins are OK to use, as are commercial textures. You need to do all the modeling yourself, however, so Poser characters are not allowed and neither are commercial models. Applications like Zbrush or Mudbox are allowed.

A couple of things to keep in mind

WIP threads in the Cinema 4D forum are allowed and encouraged. Feel free to start a thread with step-by-step images, techniques or issues you run into.

No of entries: Only one entry per member

Time: from January 23, 2008 to February 23, 2008 (deadline is roughly 16.00 CST (GMT -6))

Image size: Maximum 1024 x 1024
