Terragen2 Themed Challenge "The North Pole & Santa's Workshop"

The TG2TP Themed Challenge. This Challenge is about the North Pole and Santa's Workshop. The First tgd2 Themed Challenge is now up and running.The object of this Themed Challenge is to: Share our different concepts of what we think the North Pole should look like and Santa's home Be able to express ourselves in a free open way to explore the different nodes, shaders and other features with no limits to have to deal with other then the Themed Idea for this Challenge.We can bring models, Santa's Workshop or your concept of it, plants, trees, and other objects into our projects now and many other ways to explore this Themed Idea for this our First Themed Challenge we have set up. From now on, every 3 or 4 Months we will be having Themed Challenges that will be about 2 Months long and end on the last day of the final Month of each Themed Challenge.All entries must be submitted by midnight (Renderosity time) on the last day of the month, in this case December 31th 2007. Voting will be open one week exactly.

  • You must use the Theme for this months Themed challenge
  • Minimal Post work, such as resizing, contrast, brightness, sharpening is allowed. NOT allowed is the use of filters and masks which includes borders or special effects. Also please use Terragen version 2 Technology Preview. Any images rendered in any other Terragen versions will not be accepted at this time.

  • Final entries must be done in TG2TP, either registered or unregistered.
  • The contest is open to all Renderosity members
  • Please keep the images to a maximum of 1024 pixels by 768 pixels and not more than 200 KB
  • Thumbnails must be no larger than 100 by 100 pixels
  • The Challenge starts the 11th day of the month "November" and ends on the Last day of December, the 31th, at Midnight Renderosity Time
  • One image per person.
  • The Challenge is anonymous, so please do not post your challenge entries in the main gallery or any other website!.
  • Good luck to every one.

Judging / Voting

  • Voting will take place in the Terragen Forum, after the close of the challenge and is open to all Renderosity Members
  • Voting will begin on thefirst of each month and will close on the 7th of January at Midnight Renderosity Time
  • Voting will be as follows, 5 points for your favorite,3 points for second and 1 for third.
  • You may NOT vote for your own image
  • The use of "clone accounts" for voting is strictly forbidden
  • The winners will be posted shortly after voting ends
  • The Challenge managers will decide the winner in the case of a tie for first place
  • Announcement of the winners will take place in the Terragen Forum only

Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of the submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artists will remain the intellectual property holder
