Have an idea for your own business cards? This is your opportunity to win business cards printed with your own design! It can be for your own personal business or even a fictional business. The requirement is that the design needs to fit the typical business card size of 2" x 3.5" (front side only) in either landscape or portrait orientation.

The contest is open to all members of Renderosity and is Sponsored by Zaxys (pronounced zak-sis) Depth & Motion Imaging, a creative studio that is primarily focused on creating ground-breaking, 3D & animated imagery for lenticular printing applications. Lenticular printing is a process that requires no special glasses or stereo viewer to view amazing 3D images on a 2D print. Your logo or design should be able to work well with this form of print. There is the potential for entries that appeal to a wide audience to be considered for use in either Zaxys' or National Graphics' library of 3D stock art for business cards. The artist would be contacted and offered a royalty agreement.

This must be an original piece of work that you created or have the rights to.

Work will be judged according to the following criteria in descending order:

Creative use of the medium (2" x 3.5" business card)
Visual quality (good technical use of the medium)

The top Prize Winners must supply Renderosity, and the sponsors, with their name and email address for prize distribution. All artists agree, by entering this contest, to allow Renderosity to use their entries for promotional purposes: online, digital, in print, on CD, or in any other medium. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in it's archive and to display the the entry within this community to promote Renderosity or future contests held as a part, or extension of this community. By submitting this form, you agree that you are authorized to grant permission to Renderosity to display your creative work for external demonstrations of community art. Renderosity and the contest sponsors do not seek ownership of any of the entries. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their entry images.

Specifications:

Style: 3D Design/Logo for Business Card
First create your print-ready business cards at 300dpi, 600x1050 pixels
Save this image as the winner will be required to provide this print-ready version.
To submit your entry online, resize the image to the following specifications and rename the file for the new size.
Full Image Resolution: 200dpi, 400x700 pixels
Thumbnail Image: up to 100x100 pixels

Contents:

No nudity may be permitted
No sexual acts
No extreme or graphic violence
Multiple entries allowed
Collaborations are allowed
The entry must be your own original creation
The entry must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service
Entries previously posted elsewhere online can be accepted, so long as it does not break any copyright rules, and does not infringe on another site, or companies distribution rights.
All entries will be reviewed before being posted
We reserve the right to reject entries that may not be suitable for this contest

Judging:

The winning entries will be selected by a Judging Panel - the Panel's decision is final.
Judges will perform independent reviews of the submissions

Open to all Renderosity members except Sponsors, Judges, Admins and Bondware employees
