Let's get close and cozy!

Traffic congestion is a road condition characterized by slower speeds, longer trip times, and increased queueing. It occurs when traffic demand is greater than the capacity of a road (or of the intersections along the road). Extreme traffic congestion, where vehicles are fully stopped for periods of time, is colloquially known as a traffic jam.

Above is Wikipeadia's definition of a traffic jam and the challenge this time is to illustrate a traffic jam situation. We often think of cars and motorized vehicles when we hear about traffic jams but does it have to be cars? There are probably other scenarios that can be described as traffic jams and you are perfectly free to think outside the box!

The challenge involves modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering a scene of a traffic jam and all Cinema plugins are OK to use, as are commercial textures. You need to do all the modeling yourself, however, so Poser characters are not allowed and neither are commercial models. Applications like Zbrush or Mudbox are allowed.
