Every two years the Renderosity Art Community invites its members
to participate in a Renderosity Graphics Contest.
It's that time once again!
As we evolve as a community and as artists, we want the Renderosity graphics to evolve with us as a creative expression of our growth and the positive changes we have made. We ask you to take time to carefully consider a graphic design that would reflect and represent the Renderosity Art Community.

The contest winner grants Renderosity exclusive rights and permission to feature their images at various locations on Renderosity, other websites, printed materials and all other media. Signature of the artist on the Header logo and Art image will be added once the winner is selected. The winner will be entered into our Journey - Renderosity Logos area for historical representation. The winning images will be displayed, but may not necessarily be exclusively used. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in its archive and to display the entry within this community as a part of this contest.

Renderosity will retain the exclusive right to use the winning entry only. Renderosity does not seek to retain the copyrights of additional submissions � however, the Renderosity registered trademark name cannot be copyrighted, nor featured within the image, by artists entering the contest, other than for entries to this specific contest. In other words; artists [other than the artist of the winning entry] retain the copyright to their image, but do not have permission to display the Renderosity logo within their image, other than for this specific contest.

Contest Dates: Starts: Wednesday, April 25, 2007 Closes: Monday, June 4, 2007.
Entries must be timestamped by Monday, June 4, 2007, 12:00p.m. [Noon] (Renderosity Server Time - Central Standard Time), or cannot be accepted. Community voting*: Tuesday, June 5th - Friday, June 15th. (The top 25 highest voted entries will move on the the Admin voting phase.) Admin voting: Monday, June 18, 2007 - Friday, June 22, 2007 The Winner will be announced: Monday, June 25, 2007.

*NOTE about Community Voting: Only one vote per person allowed. No clone votes from the same IP address will be allowed. Votes from accounts created during the voting dates, or created for the sole purpose of voting will not be allowed. Community voting results will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly to accurately represent the desires of the community as a whole. The official "Top 25" community votes will be posted in here Monday, June 18th. The winner will be posted Monday, June 25, 2007.

Contest Rules: Open to all Renderosity members with the exception of Admins and Bondware employees. (Mods and Coords may participate.) Images may have squared, or curvilinear edges. Open to all software and photography. Still images only, no animated entries. All works must be original. One entry per person. Postwork is allowed. No Nudity. Design must be complimentary with the Renderosity core, blue color! Color Code #485F73 Your image must use the "Renderosity font", with the registered trademark symbol included.

(Click here for PC and MAC) Renderosity Font may be any size and displayed in any color within the graphic image submissions.

It is recommended that you create the 300dpi versions first (using the dimensions above).
save the 300dpi versions with a file name of RenderosityGraphics_1_300dpi. (for example).

Then resize the images to 72dpi (with the dimensions below).
Save the 72dpi versions with a file name of RenderosityGraphics_1_72dpi. (for example).
