Reallusion Sixty Second Siggraph Showcase

Animate a sixty second short film using iClone or CrazyTalk and submit your film for a chance to win a complete Reallusion prize package featuring a world premiere of your sixty second short inside the Reallusion theatre at Siggraph, the worlds leading animation event August 1st - 3rd 2006!

Setting the stage
Get ready to discover, direct, and debut the short film inside you with Reallusion's accessible animation software that quickly allows everyone to create custom 3D animated characters complete with auto lip-synced facial animation. When the camera rolls inside iClone and CrazyTalk you have the opportunity to film a sixty second blockbuster that may have the opportunity to be showcased alongside Pixar, Blue Sky, Disney and more. In sixty seconds tell your story including the required tag phrases below which can be placed anywhere inside your movie, but must be spoken by a character. Be funny, horrific, futuristic, or dramatic, but most of all be creative and direct your way to Siggraph 2006 the world's leading animation event.

Create your virtual characters and have them speak ONE of these following lines at some point inside your movie:

"iClone Studio, 3D real-time filmmaking blasting Machinima beyond the game."

"CrazyTalk facial animation for the ultimate human interface."

"Reallusion, blurring the line between reality and illusion."

How to enter
Use iClone or CrazyTalk to create a sixty second short that includes the product slogans above delivered by an animated character created with iClone or CrazyTalk. Develop and direct your short film with any software so long as the main content is created using iClone or CrazyTalk or a mixture of the two. Other video editing, special effects, and 3D software maybe used to support your film. Audio for films is encouraged and real voices are required; text-to-speech synthetic voices will not be eligible.

Submission and Prizes
Once your film is submitted to Renderosity we will begin reviewing entries and will announce the top 3 winners by midnight JULY 28th 2006. The Top 3 entries selected will receive a

General Contest Rules:

Contest Theme: Animate a sixty second short film using iClone or CrazyTalk and in 60 seconds tell your story including ONE of the required tag phrases above. These tag phrases can be placed anywhere inside your movie, but must be spoken by a character Contest Begins: Wednesday, July 5, 2006 Contest Ends: Monday, July 24, 2006 at 12:00p.m. [Noon - CST, system time] Time: Entries MUST be time-stamped by Monday, July 24, 2006 at 12:00p.m. [Noon - CST, system time] Judging: Judging will take place Monday, July 24th - July 27th Winners Announced: Winners to be announced Friday, July 28, 2006 on, or before midnight. Winner's Announcement will be posted on the Renderosity FrontPage, the Community Center Forum, the Contest Forum and this official contest page multiple entries allowed

Specifications:
To submit a new contest entry you will need: Still Image: No larger than 1024 x 768 and the resolution must be 72 dpi Thumbnail imageMUST be included (100 x 100 pixels in jpg or gif format) Animation file. (Renderosity will be hosting the files) Notes section please include: file size, length (viewing time), and format.

Animation specifications: Audio for the films is encouraged but not required (NOTE: Do NOT use someone else's copyrighted music - to find free music that is okay to use click here: Public Domain Music.) Animation File Size: 15MB maximum. Animation Time: 60 seconds in duration. Animation formats: DivX, .avi, .mpg or standard .mov., .wmv Entries exceeding these size and time specifications, or use other file formats, or that the Renderosity Judging Panel cannot open or play, using standard players, will be disqualified.
