The Lightwave Forum's is proud to announce a Contest, which is to create an environmental element using Hypervoxels (HV's). This will cover natural elements such as rivers/waterfalls, volcanoes/lava flows, snow blizzards, twisters/tornados, forest fires, geysers, underwater smoking mineral chimneys.

The overall winner of this contest will win a texture pack of their choice from www.ambientlight.co.uk

  • Post work on images is allowed but keep it limited (the point here is to derive as much as possible from Lightwave only). No painting your whole scene.
  • Entries due by: Sunday, June 4th, 2006 (12:00p.m.)
After voting, the winner will be announced: Sunday, June 11th, 2006 Anymore questions? Feel free to ask in the Lightwave Forum or by sending oooZENOooo, TalleyJC or cowps an Instant Message.Contest Rules:
  • Open to all Renderosity members.
  • Members cannot vote for themselves!!!
  • Again members cannot vote for themselves!!!
  • Entrants should post a (wip) of the entry in our LightWave Forum
  • All entries should follow Renderosity's Terms of Service.
  • All final entries should be rendered from LightWave 3D. Any version is accepted.
  • Postwork is allowed, but not encouraged. Try to push LightWave to get all the effects, including any postwork shaders, done during the rendering process.
  • A wire frame must be posted in our LightWave Forum.
  • Thumbnail size must be 100 X 100 pixels (or it won't upload).

Contest Facts:
  • One entry per member. Just Remember to post your WIP's in the forum BUT...
  • Final entries must be uploaded by each members to this location (scroll down), to be "entered" into the contest!
  • This contest space is set up, where we have to "approve" each entry before it actually shows up, be patient.
Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. The Artist will always remain the intellectual property & copyright holder.
