Depict in literal or metaphorical ways, a gradual transition or merger from an evil hellish environment into a more welcoming, pleasant and heavenly world. Visualize an escape from hells grip, into a spiritual awakening. Be creative and have fun!

Contest Rules:
Contest Theme is: "Out of Darkness". The goal is to depict in literal or metaphorical ways, a gradual transition or merger from an evil hellish environment into a more welcoming, pleasant and heavenly world using only the textures from a predefined pallet of "World Matters" Textures from MrBrice. (Models and props may be used. But, the textures must come only from the pallet selections provided.)

Contest Dates:
Contest opens: Friday, March 24, 2006. Contest closes: Friday, April 21, 2006 at 12:00p.m. [noon] (CST - Renderosity Server Time). Entries MUST be time stamped by Friday, April 21, 2006 at 12:00p.m.[noon] (CST - Renderosity Server Time), or cannot be accepted. Judging: Saturday, April 21st through Thursday, April 27th. Winners to be announced: Friday, April 28th in the Contest forum, the Community Center forum and on this official contest page. Winners will be required to provide their a valid e-mail address in order to claim their prize. Contest open to all Renderosity members, except Admins, contest sponsors and related individuals.

Specifications:
Image size: 800x600 0r 600x800 (jpg or gif format). Thumbnail Image: MUST be included. (maximum size: 100 x 100 pixels in jpg or gif format.) Tools: Any 3D software may be used. Post work is allowed. Original and new artwork only. Entries may not appear online during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been Posted. Only one image per person allowed. Textures: Must use the predefined pallet of "World Matters" Textures only.

By uploading your image you are agreeing that this is your original work. Also, by uploading your entry you are certifying that all models used in the image are free from print and publication restrictions and have been legally obtained.

Judging:
The winning entries will be selected by a Judging Panel. The Panel's decision is final.
