The Renderosity Gift Certificates will be awarded directly to the member's Renderosity account on, or before December 31st, 2005.

All artists agree, by entering this contest, to allow Renderosity to use their entries for promotional purposes: online, digital, in print, on CD, or in any other medium. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in it's archive and to display the the entry within this community to promote Renderosity or future contests held as a part, or extension of this community.

By submitting this form, you agree that you are authorized to grant permission for non-commercial use of your image, either as a printed greeting card, background image, or other non-commercial use to the general public.

Renderosity and the sponsors do not seek ownership of any of the entries. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their entry images.

Images may not be used for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of the artist.

General Contest Rules:

Contest Theme: "Holiday Greetings from the Past, Present & Future": Create a November/December holiday greeting animation that incorporates at least 1 element from the past, present or future.Contest begins Monday, November 7, 2005. Contest ends Monday, December 12th, 2005 at 12:00p.m.[noon] (Renderosity Server Time). Entries MUST be time-stamped by 12/12/05 12:00, or cannot be accepted. Judging will take place Dec. 13th through Dec. 19th. Winners to be announced Tuesday, December 20th, 2005 Winner's Announcement will be posted on the Renderosity FrontPage, the Community Center Forum, the Contest Forum and this official contest page. 1 entry per person, per category. 1 prize per person maximum, across all Holiday Contest categories.

Specifications:
To submit a new contest entry you will need: Still Image: Size must be 640 pixels width x 524 pixels height or 524 pixels width x 640 pixels height [72 dpi]Image and Animation may NOT be signed in any way. Thumbnail Image: MUST be included. (100 x 100 pixels in jpg or gif format.) Animation file. (Renderosity will be hosting the files.) Notes section MUST include: file size, length (viewing time), and format.
Animation specifications: Audio is optional, but desirable. (NOTE: Do NOT use someone else's copyrighted music.) Animation File Size: 10 meg maximum. Animation Time: between 10 - 60 seconds in duration. Animation formats: DivX, .avi, .mpg or standard .mov. Entries exceeding these size and time specifications, or use other file formats, or that the Renderosity Judging Panel cannot open or play, using standard players, will be disqualified.

Contents: The entries MUST contain at least one (or more) element of past, present or future.Entries must be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly. Entries must not appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been Posted. Must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service. No nudity (Which includes: No bare female nipples, no exposed genitals or groin area of any humaniod female or male figures, nor any completely bare buttocks. If in doubt about the no nudity clause, please click on the following "Contest Figure Coverage Guidelines." No sexual situations. No extreme or graphic violence. (Cartoon style "slap-stick" okay.) Any software can be used. Also, by uploading your entry you are certifying that all models used in the image are free from print and publication restrictions NOTE: Do NOT use someone else's copyrighted music. Judging: The winning entries will be selected by a Judging Panel - The Panel's decision is final. Judges will perform independent reviews of the submissions. All members, with the exception of those on the Judging Panel, the Holiday Contest Managers and current Admins can enter.
