| Arts & Crafts Monthly Themed Challenge October/November Theme: "Black & White" |

| Use only black and white for your craft project. By using only black and white you'll have the chance to study contrast, negative space and many interesting things. Visit the Arts & Crafts forum where we will be discussing these properties. | |
| Entry Rules PLEASE - read these rules carefully. Entries that do not comply with the rules may be rejected on upload, or pulled from the challenge at any time, whether before, during, or after the voting process. |

| :: | Open to all Renderosity members. |
| :: | Pieces MUST use only black and white. |
| :: | List briefly the techniques and main materials you used for the piece. |
| :: | Any craft technique and material is allowed. Remember we are focusing on Arts&Crafts and not on Fine Arts. |
| :: | One entry per person. |
| :: | Do not include your name or signature in the image, as the challenge is anonymous. |
| :: | The image submitted must be under 200 kb. |
| :: | A thumbnail must be included, 100 x 100 pixels maximum. |
| :: | The piece MUST be a new work, crafted specifically for this challenge. |
| :: | No nudity, implied sexuality, or violence. All images must adhere to Renderosity's Terms Of Service. |
| :: | Challenge starts October 01, 2005. |
| :: | Challenge ends November 25, 2005 at 11:59 PM [Renderosity time]. |
| :: | The winner picks the next month's theme, subject to approval by the challenge managers. If the winner doesn't come up with a theme or fail to anwer managers' messages for a period of 5 days after the winner is announced, managers will choose next challenge's theme. |
| Voting rules | |
| :: | Voting will take place in the Challenge pages, and will be announced shortly after the Challenge is closed. |
| :: | The voting option is available when viewing the full-size image. |
| :: | Each member gets only ONE vote, so please choose carefully! |
| :: | Votes from clone accounts and non-active members (ie. family, friends, work colleagues)are NOT acceptable. |
| :: | Members are NOT allowed to vote for their OWN image. Such action will be grounds for disqualification. |
| :: | In the case of a tie, the actual voting order decides the placement. In a tie of 3 or more, votes will be collected by one of the Challenge managers via IM or e-mail. |
| Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder. | |
