Journal
A Glimpse Into A Life
This month's challenge is a bit different than in previous
months. This month, you will be getting into the mind of your
characters perhaps more than you have in the past.
The theme of this month's challenge, Journal, means your
challenge is to write a journal entry as if you were your
character. Who you choose as your character is up to you. You may
choose yourself, your neighbor, a fictional character of any genre,
or someone non-fictional from any time period. The key to this
challenge is being able to become the character of your
choosing.
Remember, both the character and subject of your journal entry
is entirely up to you and your imagination!
Submission Guidelines
Your story must be based on the monthly challenge
theme: "Journal - A Glimpse Into A Life." Write your journal
entry in 1000 words or less. No poetry for this
contest will be accepted unless the poetry is used as a part of
your journal entry. A separate poetry contest will be created
in the future.
Ignore the 5 line limit on the box when you
upload - that limit is only for "image contests." Double space
between paragraphs. Type directly in the upload box or copy/paste
from Notepad (or similar editing program).
IMPORTANT:
Copy/Pasting from complex word processing programs, such as MS
Word, can change certain characters.
If you use MS Word:

from Word
into Notepad,
then
Copy/Paste into the contest upload box.
